Setting Up Your Training PlanMy Training Plan is a tool to help you organize, complete, and track your training on selected Infor products. It also allows the KnowledgeZone administrators at your site to track your progress as well. In less than 30 seconds you can have a plan and start learning. To create a training plan, follow these steps.Step 1. Add ResponsibilitiesGo to the Add Responsibilities page and select the tasks you'll be responsible to perform. The system will automatically add all prerequisite responsibilities. If you do not see your product or version listed, and it's a product that appears in the list below the Select Your Product link on the left sidebar of the KnowledgeZone, it means there is no training plan available for that product and version at this time. This does not mean there aren't any KnowledgeZone training resources available to you; it just means you won't be able to create a plan. To access the training resources for that product, click on the Training Guide, Self-Study Classes, and Instructor-Led Classes links at the top of the site. If you do not know which responsibilities to add, talk to your manager or the person responsible for training at your site and determine what your responsibilities in the system will be. You can review the full list of responsibilities on the Add Responsibilities page or in the document for your product in the administrators area below. Step 2. Remove Individual TasksSometimes it's easiest to add whole responsibilities and areas to your plan, even if you won't be responsible for all the tasks associated with those responsibilities or areas. If there are any tasks in your plan you don't need to learn, go to the Remove Responsibilities page and remove those tasks.Step 3. Start Learning and Tracking Your ProgressClick on the My Training Plan button at the top of the site to see your plan and all the KnowledgeZone training resources (classes, guides, recordings) you can use to learn each task.Because the plan is sorted in prerequisite order, all you need to do is start with the first task at the top and work your way down the list. Please be aware that you do NOT need to use all the learning resources listed under each task --simply use those that fit your schedule and learning style. When you can perform a task comfortably, select the Task Learned checkbox for that task. This will allow you and the KnowledgeZone administrator at your site to track your progress. It's that simple. If you have any questions, please click on the Contact Us link above and send us an email. For AdministratorsTrack the progress of users at your siteIf you are a KnowledgeZone administrator for your company, you will be able to access the KnowledgeZone administration area through your account. The administration area allows you to:
Identify the responsibilities each user needs to addIn some instances, users might not know which responsibilities they need to add to their plan. While KnowledgeZone administrators cannot create plans for other users at this time, they can communicate which responsibilities a user needs to add. The spreadsheets below list all the areas, responsibilities, and tasks included in My Training Plan for the product specified. Download the spreadsheet and email a copy to each user, highlighting the responsibilities that user needs to add to his or her plan.KnowledgeZone My Training Plan - Areas Responsibilities and Tasks - SyteLine ERP |
